Tepat hari Senin tanggal 17 Juli 2023 merupakan awal masuk tahun ajaran baru di semua lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia dan tentunya diawal masuk sekolah ini, setiap sekolah mengadakan kegiatan masa pengenalan lingkungan sekolah (MPLS) sehingga peserta didik baru dapat beradaptasi dengan sekolah barunya. Kegiatan ini sudah menjadi kegiatan tahunan dari pemerintah.
Nah, hari ini SD Muhammadiyah 4 Zamzam Sukodono juga mengadakan kegiatan yang sama, yaitu Forum Ta’aruf dan Orientasi Siswa (FORTASI). Kegiatan ini di mulai dengan upacara, kemudian di lanjutkan pembukaan tahun ajaran baru oleh kepala sekolah M. Anas Fikri, S.Pd,. M.AP dengan membaca bacaan basmalah bersama, pemotongan pita, penyematan topi kepada dua orang siswa peserta didik baru dan di akhiri dengan pelepasan burung merpati. Ini adalah rangkaian dari kegiatan pembukaan Fortasi hari ini. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan berpose bersama di depan halaman sekolah bagi peserta didik baru untuk menjadi kenangan bersejarah dalam kehidupan mereka kelak.
Kegiatan Fortasi tahun ini bertemakan Zamzam the Jungle. Dengan harapan tema ini dapat membentuk karakter Islami yang dapat mewujudkan generasi pencinta alam. Tema ini sangat bagus karena dapat memberikan dampak postif kepada peserta didik baru, sehingga mereka dapat menahu bahwa menjaga dan melindungi tanaman adalah bagian dari menjaga kelestarian alam. Kegiatan Fortasi tahun ini berbeda dari tahun sebelumnya, karena bertemakan hutan ala zamzam yang di desain sedemikian bagus oleh bagian perlengkapan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengalaman baru yang berbeda bagi peserta didik maupun wali murid di awal tahun ajaran baru ini, terutama bagi peserta didik baru tahun ini.
Kegiatan Fortasi di SD Muhammadiyah 4 Zamzam Sukodono tidak hanya memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai keislaman, tetapi mengajarkan pentingnya menjaga dan mencintai alam disekelilingnya. Melalui tema tersebut diharapkan peserta didik menjadi lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan di sekitarnya dan dapat dijadikan pengalaman yang menginspirasi dirinya untuk menjadi generasi islami yang berpegang teguh dengan nilai Islam dan dapat menjaga kelestarian alam sebagai bentuk generasi yang pecinta alam.
