cakhermanlink.com – Participant World Muslim Scout Jamboree (WMSJ) 2025 yang akan diselenggarakan oleh Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, Ponorogo, hampir mencapai angka 10.000 peserta. Jambore dunia ini akan digelar dalam rangka memperingati 100 tahun Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor dan diprediksi menjadi salah satu ajang jambore internasional Muslim terbesar yang pertama kali diselenggarakan di Indonesia. “Sejauh ini angka peserta jambore sudah hampir 10.000 peserta dan kemungkinan masih akan terus bertambah,” ujar salah satu Ketua WMSJ 2025, Zakiyanto Arief, dalam keterangannya, pada hari Minggu (5/3/2025).
Peserta yang terdaftar tidak hanya berasal dari Indonesia, tetapi juga dari sejumlah negara Islam yang tergabung dalam Organisasi Kerjasama Islam (OKI). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peran besar Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor di kancah internasional, terutama menjalin kerja sama dalam pendidikan dengan berbagai negara anggota OKI. “Kita berharap jambore ini menjadi ajang silaturahmi besar untuk pramuka Muslim dunia serta memperkuat ukhuwah Islamiyah bersama Pondok Gontor,” ucap Zakiyanto.
Panitia WMSJ 2025 saat ini masih terus mematangkan sejumlah persiapan, mengingat tingginya animo peserta dari dalam dan luar negeri yang ingin berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Kemudian Zakiyanto menegaskan bahwa WMSJ 2025 terbuka untuk semua kalangan, termasuk peserta dari sekolah berbasis pendidikan menengah umum atau negeri. “Kami sangat terbuka, siapapun yang ingin mendaftar untuk ikut jambore dipersilakan.
